This private journey explores Hatton, Castlereagh Reservoir, tea estates, waterfalls and the famous pilgrimage route to Adam’s Peak.

Day 2
Negombo – Kitulgala – Hatton
Travel towards Sri Lanka’s central highlands with an optional stop in Kitulgala for rainforest scenery, river views or white-water rafting. Continue through mountain roads to Hatton.
Day 3
Hatton Tea Country Experience
Explore the landscapes around Hatton, visit a working tea estate and learn how Ceylon tea is grown, harvested and processed. Continue to scenic viewpoints around Castlereagh Reservoir.
Day 4
Waterfalls and Tea Estates
Visit St. Clair’s Falls, Devon Falls and nearby tea-growing areas. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon at your hotel, tea bungalow or reservoir-side property.
Day 5
Hatton – Nallathanniya
Travel to Nallathanniya, the main starting point for the Adam’s Peak climb. Check into your hotel, rest during the afternoon and prepare for the overnight pilgrimage hike.
Day 6
Adam’s Peak Sunrise – Hatton
Begin the climb during the early hours and reach the summit for sunrise, subject to weather, fitness and seasonal access. Descend after the experience and return to Hatton for rest and recovery.
Day 7
Hatton – Nuwara Eliya
Travel through Sri Lanka’s scenic tea country towards Nuwara Eliya. Visit tea plantations, mountain viewpoints and local attractions before checking into your hotel.
Day 8
Nuwara Eliya – Colombo or Airport
Enjoy a relaxed morning before travelling privately to Colombo, Bandaranaike International Airport or your next selected destination.
