Day 1
Arrival – Negombo
Meet your private chauffeur at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Negombo. Relax after your flight and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Distance: Approximately 15 km
Travel Time: Approximately 20 to 30 minutes
Main Experiences: Negombo Beach, coastal scenery and a relaxed introduction to Sri Lanka
Optional Activities: Lagoon boat ride, beach walk, swimming or local seafood dinner
Adventure Tip: Use the first day to rest and stay hydrated before beginning the active itinerary.
Day 2
Negombo – Kitulgala White-Water Rafting
Travel into Sri Lanka’s lush interior and reach Kitulgala, one of the country’s leading adventure destinations. Join a professionally guided white-water rafting experience on the Kelani River.
Distance: Approximately 95 km
Travel Time: Approximately 3 hours plus activities
Main Experiences: Kelani River, rainforest scenery and Kitulgala adventure region
Optional Activities: Canyoning, waterfall abseiling, confidence jumps or rainforest trekking
Adventure Tip: Wear secure footwear and quick-drying clothing. Follow the rafting guide’s instructions at all times.
Day 3
Kitulgala – Kandy
Enjoy an optional morning rainforest walk before travelling through scenic countryside to Kandy. Visit the city’s cultural attractions and enjoy the peaceful lakeside setting.
Distance: Approximately 70 km
Travel Time: Approximately 2.5 to 3 hours
Main Experiences: Kandy Lake, Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and hill-country scenery
Optional Activities: Cultural dance show, mountain cycling or Royal Botanical Gardens
Adventure Tip: Temple visitors should wear clothing that covers shoulders and knees.
Day 4
Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
Travel higher into Sri Lanka’s central mountains. Visit a tea estate, stop beside scenic waterfalls and explore the cool highland town of Nuwara Eliya.
Distance: Approximately 80 km
Travel Time: Approximately 3 hours plus stops
Main Experiences: Tea plantations, Ramboda Falls, mountain roads and Gregory Lake
Optional Activities: Tea tasting, cycling, horse riding or a guided nature walk
Adventure Tip: Carry a warm layer and rain protection because highland weather can change quickly.
Day 5
Highland Trekking – Scenic Train to Ella
Begin early for an optional guided trek at Horton Plains National Park. Later, board the scenic hill-country train towards Ella, travelling through tea estates, forests and mountain valleys.
Distance: Trekking and scenic rail journey
Travel Time: Flexible full-day programme
Main Experiences: Horton Plains, World’s End, Baker’s Falls and hill-country railway
Optional Activities: Shorter nature walk instead of the full trek or private road transfer to Ella
Adventure Tip: Train seats are subject to availability. Carry water, snacks and a light rain jacket.
Day 6
Ella Hiking & Zipline Adventure
Enjoy an active day in Ella. Hike to Little Adam’s Peak, visit Nine Arch Bridge and experience the Flying Ravana zipline above the mountain landscape.

Main Experiences: Little Adam’s Peak, Nine Arch Bridge and panoramic Ella scenery
Optional Activities: Ella Rock trek, mountain biking, abseiling or private photography experience
Adventure Tip: Start hiking early to avoid the midday heat and wear footwear with good grip.
Day 7
Ella – Waterfalls – Yala
Leave Ella and travel through changing landscapes towards the dry zone. Stop at Ravana Falls and continue to the Yala region for an evening of relaxation.
Distance: Approximately 120 km
Travel Time: Approximately 3 hours plus stops
Main Experiences: Ravana Falls, southern countryside and Yala wilderness
Optional Activities: Waterfall walk, village cycling experience or luxury wilderness camping upgrade
Adventure Tip: Swimming near waterfalls should only be attempted where conditions are safe and local guidance permits it.
Day 8
Private Yala Safari – Mirissa
Take an early private jeep safari through Yala National Park. Look for elephants, crocodiles, deer, monkeys, birds and other wildlife before continuing to Mirissa.
Distance: Approximately 140 km
Travel Time: Approximately 3 to 4 hours plus safari
Main Experiences: Yala National Park, wildlife habitats and Sri Lanka’s south coast
Optional Activities: Specialist naturalist, upgraded safari jeep or sunset beach walk
Adventure Tip: Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. Remain seated and follow park regulations throughout the safari.
Day 9
Surfing & South Coast Adventure
Enjoy a guided surfing lesson suitable for your experience level. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing at the beach or choosing another coastal activity.

Main Experiences: Mirissa Beach, Weligama Bay and tropical coastal scenery
Optional Activities: Snorkelling, paddleboarding, kayaking, whale watching or coastal cycling
Adventure Tip: Water activities depend on sea and weather conditions. Always follow the instructor’s safety guidance.
Day 10
Mirissa – Airport Departure
Enjoy your final morning on the south coast before travelling by private vehicle to Bandaranaike International Airport.
Distance: Approximately 175 km
Travel Time: Approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours
Main Experiences: Coastal motorway journey and private airport transfer
Optional Activities: Galle Fort stop, Colombo visit, additional beach nights or airport lounge
Adventure Tip: Your departure transfer will be arranged around airline check-in time and expected traffic conditions.
